effort to track the status of children in the U.S.

and policy.
- Child/Adolescent Health and Development,
The Commonwealth Fund. This site provides variety of
free reports and peer-reviewed articles on child and
adolescent health and development. Topics include practice-based
standards, quality of care, Medicaid, child development
and more.
- Child Trends. Non-profit organization that conducts
research and advocacy around a number of issues important
to the well-being of children, including (1) child
well-being (abuse, neglect, family violence, early
childhood education, foster care and adoption, health
and youth development); (2) marriage and family, including
adolescent reproductive health and sexual behavior;
(3) research methods and (4) welfare and poverty.
